Bud, "The Bangstick Man" was born in the foothills of the beautiful Appalachian mountains.

As a young man, he enlisted in the army during the Korean conflict and was stationed in Europe as an electronics technician in radio communications maintenance.

After leaving his tour of duty in the army at the rank of sargeant, he went into the aviation electronics industry and quickly moved from leadman to foreman, later to production superintendant and finally to plant manager.

During that time, he was instrumental in the design, development and manufacturing of a DC-AC power converter that is now one of the standard power supplies used in the Space Station.

Not satisfied with one vocation, he has also acquired mastery skills in design development, drafting, machining, fitting and various forms of welding techniques.

After a full and exciting career, he finally retired and moved to South Florida with his lovely wife, Ann, who manages the home, the shop, and sometimes, Bud,  who often spends too much time in the shop.

Bud and Ann are the sole owners and operators of A&S Machined Parts, Inc.

Ann has been heard to say, "I believe Bud's favorite cologne is cutting oil and gunpowder!"
